    "I first got involved when I was a student at Lutcher High School. Before Special Olympics I just stayed at home all the time and now I get out and do things!"

    How has Special Olympics changed your life?

    "Through practice and competition, I have gained confidence and encouraged others to be team players."

    What is your favorite Special Olympics memory?

    a

    "In 1999, when I had the honor of participating in the Special Olympics World Games for Gymnastics, I competed in balance beam, bars, floor routine and the all-around competition. I came home with numerous medals and was honored to represent the United States and Louisiana."

    What do you have coming up?

    "I am going to the 2014 USA Games this summer. I want to improve my skills and show my dedication to Bocce. I also want to bring home a Gold Medal!"
