    "I started when I was nine. I got started in school through Coach Cindy. I first started learning how to run track."

    How has Special Olympics changed your life?

    "I remember a time when I was not able to even shoot a basketball. Now I have made great improvements because of my dedication to Special Olympics. I am proud of my success in tennis and plan to keep working hard at the sport."

    What is your favorite Special Olympics memory?

    "When I went to Houston, Texas, and got the chance to swim. I enjoyed meeting lots of new people!"

    What do you have coming up?

    "I am excited about going to the USA Games and will enjoy traveling to another state. I didn't travel much before Special Olympics and that is one of my favorite parts of this experience." "I am ready to compete in Tennis at the USA Games. I constantly motivate myself to do better. I stay driven by training twice a week for at least four hours at a time. I always play hard and try my best!"
