This is a fundraiser for the Capitol Area and will be held at Ashley Manor Reception Hall in Baton Rouge, LA.

These guests were asked to Reveal the Champion in themselves and in our Special Olympics Louisiana athletes. This event is one of Special Olympics’ annual campaigns. Participants were invited to a breakfast that raised awareness and engaged the community by showcasing some of the unique programs Special Olympics Louisiana has to offer. Volunteer at State Summer Games

Special Olympics Louisiana will host theState Summer Games the weekend of May 19th-May 21st. Opening Ceremony will begin at 7:30 pm. The games will be held at Southeastern Louisiana University in Hammond, Louisiana.

This is a great way to start off your Summer in the beautiful Louisiana weather. Bring some friends and come join our volunteers!

Special Olympics Unified Sports is an initiative that combines Special Olympics athletes and athletes without intellectual disabilities (called Partners) on sports teams for training and competition. Age and ability matching of athletes and Partners is defined on a sport-by-sport basis.

Unified Sports creates an environment for our athletes to put their skills to a challenge with the help of their Unified Partners. Also, it builds new friendships, promotes inclusion, and acceptance.
