2019 State Bowling

This is an event for athletes who qualified at their respective areas. Male and female athletes from across the state will compete in Bowling at the Area level in hopes to qualify to participate in this event, State Bowling. For more information in regards to qualifying please contact your Area Team Leader.

Over the Edge

What is NOLA Over the Edge: SWAT Edition?

Whether you are fearless or looking to overcome your fears, NOLA Over the Edge: SWAT Edition is the challenge for you!  This event is the ULTIMATE Adrenaline Rush!

Participants will get the opportunity to RAPPEL 25 stories down NOLA's Benson Tower, RIDE in a helicopter & SWAT train with Louisiana's finest at the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Training Facility while raising much-needed funds for Special Olympics Louisiana athletes!

Statewide Law Enforcement Torch Run Week

Louisiana law enforcement officers coordinate several runs/relays across the state to bring The "Flame of Hope" to the State Summer Games Opening Ceremonies. Learn more about the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics Louisiana.

Over the Edge

On December 4th, 2015, participants will get the opportunity to RAPPEL 25 stories down NOLA's Benson Tower, RIDE in a helicopter & SWAT train with Louisiana's finest at the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Training Facility, while raising much needed funds for Special Olympics Louisiana athletes!

SUNO vs. Dillard Flag Football Game

This is an event that will feature athletes from Special Olympics Louisiana's flag football athletes in a demonstration game. The schedule will be as follows:

OR Area Sports Development Day

This sports development day will be a place for people with intellectual disabilities to learn new sports skills and improve individual sport performance, participate in individual and team sports, build friendships and have fun with partners who have signed on and trained as clinic "volunteers". The day would be social, as well as athletic.

International LETR Conference

This International Conference will be held in New Orleans, September 9-13, 2014 and will feature Law Enforcement from all arould the world. Click here for more information.
