What is NOLA Over the Edge: SWAT Edition?
Whether you are fearless or looking to overcome your fears, NOLA Over the Edge: SWAT Edition is the challenge for you! This event is the ULTIMATE Adrenaline Rush!
Participants will get the opportunity to RAPPEL 25 stories down NOLA's Benson Tower, RIDE in a helicopter & SWAT train with Louisiana's finest at the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Training Facility, while raising much needed funds for Special Olympics Louisiana athletes!
Who can participate?
You will not only get the experience of a lifetime, but you will also help thousands of Special Olympics Louisiana athletes. Athletes who have gained self confidence, athletic ability, friendships and empowerment through Special Olympics programs.
Anyone can go Over the Edge! No Climbing Experience Required!
Individuals are required to raise a minimum of $1,000 and can request donations from family, friends and co-workers through their own personal Over the Edge on-line fundraising page.
Get EVERYONE involved! Toss Your Boss, Throw Your Teacher, Pitch Your President!
Companies, schools, clubs and other organizations can raise funds to send someone Over the Edge! You can even use company matching! Sponsorship opportunities are available at all levels and some even include spots to rappel! You can expect unparalleled media exposure, positive corporate branding...and a truly unique marketing opportunity!!

Donate to an edger and help them reach their goal for Special Olympics Louisiana, or you can make a General Donation for the athletes participating in the event.
