Thursday, May 4, 2017

St. John Parish, LaPlace

Check-in at: 8:00 AM

Run starts at: 8:30 AM

Run Route:

  • Start: Frostop (411 E. Airline Hwy., LaPlace, LA)
  • Leave from Airline Motors in Laplace (225 Airline Hwy) running N/B
  • Left on Main St. to W 5th on way to John L. Ory School.
  • Continue to St. Joan of Arc Parking Lot. Return to 5th
  • Left on Hemlock, passing CARQUEST
  • Proceed and turn North on U.S. 61 to Belle Pointe Blvd.
  • Left to East St. John Elementary, then back on U.S. 61, reaching E St. John High School.
  • Continue on U.S. 61 to Reserve Christian School.
  • Get back on U.S. 61 to Central Ave
  • Right at Railroad Ave., passing by Riverside Academy, over the tracks to W 7th.
  • Proceed to St. Peter's school
  • End: St. Peter's Church Parking Lot.
  • Post-Run Activity: After party at Frenier's Landing Restaurant and Oyster Bar (113 Dottie Lane, off of Peavine Rd. in LaPlace). There will be food, drinks, and music.

Lafourche, Gray

Check-in at: 7:30 AM

Run starts at: 8:00 AM

Run Route:

  • Start: Troop C (4047 West Park Ave.)
  • Route will run LA 20 to Jackson Street
  • Right on 3rd street
  • Left on Green street
  • Right on 2nd
  • Ceremony: stop for a 5 min Ceremony  at the Mayor's office
  • Right on Canal Blvd
  • Left on East 7th Street
  • Left on Cardinal Drive
  • Right on Menard
  • Left on Audubon
  • Right on LA 1 to run through St. Charles and through Raceland
  • End: Ending at the Tourist Center ( 4484 Hwy 1, Raceland 70394) under the Raceland over pass. Hwy 1
  • Post-Run Activity: Following the run there will be a BBQ at the park with lots of food, drinks, music and fun.

St. James, Gramercy

Check-in at: 7:30 AM

Run starts at: 8:00 AM

Run Route:

  • Start: Sacred Heart Church on Main Street in Gramercy.
  • Travel Main Street through Gramercy into Lutcher. 
  • Turn on Lutcher Avenue (Hwy 3193)
  • End: Lutcher Recreation Park.
  • Handoff: Drive to LA 3125 towards Convent to hand off to Ascension Parish Sheriff's officers on LA 3125 just before LA 70.

St. Charles, Destrehan

Run starts at: 9:30 AM

  • - Start: Meet at River Road and Ormond Boulevard in Destrehan
  • - Proceed down Ormond Boulevard to Airline Highway.
  • - Left onto Airline Hwy
  • - Left onto Good Hope Street
  • - Right onto River Road
  • - Right onto Apple Street
  • - Left on 5th Street
  • End: Knights of Columbus Hall (375 Spruce St.)
